11:30 AM - 01:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

The Liberty
1812 South Blvd.
Charlotte, NC , 28203

The WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter is pleased to host our Lunch Program on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 featuring Jose Theiler, Senior Transportation Civil Value Engineer at HDR Engineering.

This presentation describes how Cost Risk Assessments can be used to validate project base cost estimates and schedules. The process entails identifying and quantifying possible project specific risk events that impact cost and schedule and response strategies geared to reducing the probability of these occurrence. The Montecarlo simulation model can be used in the financial and economic evaluations to provide a full spectrum of outcomes.

Jose Theiler PE, CVS is a Certified Value Specialist (CVS) with vast experience in transportation engineering, program/project management, process management and technology development. Mr. Theiler has developed and conducted instructional courses in related disciplines, including scheduling, value engineering, risk management and technology products. His project management experience over the past 37 years has put him in the position to be a successful program and project manager, risk manager and value engineering leader able to effectively communicate and resolve issues that require multidiscipline considerations.

Engineers attending this program could earn 1.0 Professional Development Hour.
