Climate Change and Implications for Transportation

Join The Maine Chapter of WTS and SMPS Northern New England for an informative program on “Climate Change and Implications for Transportation,” on Tuesday, January 22, 5 pm at the Senator Inn, Augusta. Our speaker is Dr. Indrani Ghosh of Kleinfelder who specializes in climate change impacts assessment in the federal and municipal sectors.

 

Please join WTS – Maine Chapter for an informative program on “Climate Change and Implications for Transportation,” on Tuesday, January 22, 5 pm at the Senator Inn, Augusta.  Our speaker is Dr. Indrani Ghosh of Kleinfelder who specializes in climate change impacts assessment in the federal and municipal sectors.

 

Dr. Indrani Ghosh has over 7 years of experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling of urban storm and sanitary sewer systems and her specialization areas are climate change impacts assessment in the federal and municipal sectors, analysis of hydraulic structures, and spatial scaling analysis. Her recent projects include modeling sea-level rise impacts for military installations, climate change vulnerability assessment for the City of Cambridge, analysis of climate change impacts on the existing sewer/storm infrastructure of municipalities in the New England area, and stormwater modeling of large transportation and development projects She has provided technical review related to hydraulic analysis in sewer separation projects in various New England communities. Dr. Ghosh also has significant experience in water quality modeling, water quality sampling and analysis, and programming using GIS.

The 5 pm social hour will be followed by the presentation and discussion.
