Chicago - Infrastructure Sustainability Panel

Join us for a panel discussion on infrastructure sustainability. This event features a compare/contrast of a variety of sustainability infrastructure programs including Greenroads, FHWA's Invest, CDA's Sustainability Manual and others. Stay ahead of the curve by educating yourself on sustainable infrastructure to make informed decisions on your future projects. Registration includes dinner and 1 PDH certification.

A little more about the panelists:

Jeralee L. Anderson, Ph.D., P.E., LEED AP

Jeralee Anderson is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Greenroads International, a globally recognized nonprofit organization focused on sustainability education and certification for transportation projects. As Executive Director, she currently manages the daily operations and oversees all programs for Greenroads. She received her doctorate in sustainability and civil engineering from the University of Washington. Jeralee worked in a variety of structural, geotechnical and construction engineering positions in California after receiving her undergraduate degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She is a licensed professional engineer in Washington State and California, and was recognized in 2013 by the White House as a Transportation Champion of Change for the 21st Century.


Alicia Pitlik

Alicia Pitlik is a Materials Engineer with Illinois Tollway.  Alicia has a bachelor's degree from Michigan Technological University and master's degree from University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, both in civil engineering.  During the past 14 years, Alicia has been involved in Illinois Tollway work as a contractor, consultant, and now an employee.  She is helping to facilitate the use and development of the sustainability tools at the Illinois Tollway.



Aaron Frame
Aaron Frame is the Deputy Commissioner of Environment for the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA). In that role, he brings 23 years of experience to all aspects of environmental planning, environmental compliance, sustainability, and airport noise for both O'Hare and Midway International Airports.


Prior to coming to the CDA, Frame worked for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the City and County of Denver Department of Aviation.

He joined the CDA as an Assistant Commissioner of Environment in March 2007, and was promoted to Deputy Commissioner of that division in November 2015.

Frame graduated from Purdue University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering degree, and from the University of Denver in 2002 with a Master of Environmental Policy and Management degree.
