WTS Breakfast Program: Bottineau Health Impact Assessment

08:30 AM - 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time

Kimley-Horn and Associates, Suite 238N
2550 University Ave W
St. Paul, MN , 55105-2006

Join WTS Minnesota for an informative presentation on the status of the Bottineau Health Impact Assessment!

Currently underway in Hennepin County is a Health Impact Assessment (HIA) for the Bottineau Transitway. The study is being coordinated with the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed light rail line connecting areas between downtown Minneapolis and Brooklyn Park. An HIA assesses the effects of a proposed project on the health of a population, which can include answering questions like, "How will the project affect phsyical activity and obesity?" and "How will it impact air quality and asthma?"

Join WTS MN for a breakfast presentation by Hennepin County HIA Planner Crystal Myslajek and former Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council Intern Ann Rogosheske as they provide an overview and update on the status of the HIA.
