The WTS – Heart of Texas Chapter is honored to present Mr. Shane Harbinson, Assistant Director of the Department of Aviation for the City of Austin, as our featured speaker for our April 2013 luncheon program. Mr. Harbinson will discuss issues in the airport industry and future airport development. 

Shane Harbinson serves as Assistant Director for the City of Austin, Department of Aviation. He oversees the activities of Planning, Capital Development & Environmental Programs.
Shane joined the staff at ABIA in April 1999 to serve as an Airport Operations Coordinator. Since then, he has worked in several key positions at ABIA, including Noise Abatement Officer, Principle Airport Planner, Manager of Airport Operations, and Assistant Director of Operations and Security. He has worked at other airports including Midland International and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Shane graduated from Saint Cloud State University after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Airport Management.
