WTS is pleased to welcome the Design-Build Team for the Sacramento Viaducts Design-Build Project on Friday, April 25, 2014 for our April lunch program!   Beginning construction this spring, the project will rehabilitate the bridge decks on both the Sacramento River Viaduct on Highway 50, and the West End Viaduct on Interstate 5.

The rehabilitation will include various deck overlays, repairing and replacing deck drainage systems, and replacing existing deck joint seals.  A complex Traffic Management Plan will be employed to maximize safety and minimize traffic congestion throughout construction.

The design-build team consists of Dokken Engineering for design services, and  Myers and Sons Construction along with sister company Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction are the selected contractors.  Representatives from both the City of Sacramento andWest Sacramento will also be on hand to answer any questions about the project.  Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about the rehabilitation of these two major mainline structures!
