Join us for the Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Maggiano's at the Domain! Our board will provide a presentation on our Year in Review for 2019, as well as a look ahead to 2020.

Jacqueline Yaft
Executive Director of Aviation for ABIA
Jacqueline has built an accomplished career as an airport management professional.  With over 20 years of experience at some of the largest hub airports in the U.S., including the Los Angeles World Airports, Denver International Airport, and JFK International Airport, Jacqueline served in executive positions within operations management, airport safety and security compliance, and master plan implementation.
At Los Angeles World Airports, Jacqueline served as the Deputy Executive Director of Operations and Emergency Management, where she led airport operations throughout a series of major infrastructure projects at LAX. She is highly recognized and respected for building collaborative relationships with business leaders and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Jacqueline received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Metropolitan State College of Denver and a Master of Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is accredited as an International Airport Professional through the Global ACI-ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program. She has recently honed her management and business skills as a Principal with aviation consulting firms Ross & Baruzzini and Paslay Management Group. Her technical competencies include executing airport security assessments, emergency preparedness and training, communication center operations, and incident investigation and reviews.

Delia Garza
Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Austin

Mayor Pro Tem Delia Garza was first elected to Austin City Council in November 2014, as part of Austin's first 10-1 Council. She was reelected in November 2016, and was elected by her colleagues to serve as Mayor Pro Tem in January 2019. Garza was the first Latina to serve on the City Council in Austin and, she is the first Latina to serve as Austin's Mayor Pro Tem. She represents District 2 in Southeast Austin.
Prior to running for City Council, Garza was involved in numerous community-based efforts advocating for affordable housing, education, and fair and equitable representation., She has served on several boards and committees, including Hermanos de East Austin, the Dove Springs Recreation Center Advisory Board, the Capital City A&M Club Scholarship Committee, and the City of Austin's Charter Revision Committee. She has also mentored students at Rodriguez Elementary in Dove Springs through the Seedling Foundation.
In her service on Austin City Council, Mayor Pro Tem Garza is the Chair of the Regional Affordability Committee and Vice Chair of the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CapMetro) Board of Directors. She has also served on the Health and Human Services Committee, Austin Energy Utility Oversight Committee, and Mobility Committee. 
Mayor Pro Tem Garza has a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. She is married to Ramiro Martinez, Jr. and they are the proud parents of their daughter, Lourdes.
