New technology can rise to the challenge of persistent problems - and create new ones. A panel of local experts from Capital Metro, the City of Austin Equity Office, and TxDOT's Freight Branch discuss our region's challenges and how smart and innovative solutions introduce new potential to solve them.

Making Innovation Possible: 
Policy and Funding
Policy and funding direct when, where, and how new solutions can be implemented. Speakers from CAMPO and the Center for Transportation Research discuss the possibilities and barriers to getting smart strategies to the streets.

On the Ground: 
Lessons from Early Implementers
Trailblazers from the City of Arlington, CTRMA, and TxDOT share their experience and lessons learned deploying innovative solutions including autonomous vehicle districts and wrong-way driving detection.
