On Nov. 3, 2015, an overwhelming majority of City of Colorado Springs voters embraced Ballot Measure 2c supporting a tax increase for road improvements. This measure enabled a temporary sales/use tax increase of 0.62 percent to generate an estimated $50 million of additional City revenue per year for 5 years. Corey Farkas, Public Works Operations Manager for the City of Colorado Springs, will present an overview of the challenges along the path to success for this program.
