Please join the South Florida WTS Chapter as we recognize outstanding women making a difference in our industry and region!

Every year, WTS awards exceptional young women scholarships to support and encourage their advancement in the transportation industry. This year we are excited to announce two deserving students at our 2015 Annual Scholarship Event.

As our Scholarship Event Keynote Speaker, we are honored to have Congresswoman Lois Frankel share with us her career’s journey and the vital role she plays in Congress and on the US House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee.  She is influencing how we shape our communities through livable transportation and infrastructure investments. Congresswoman Frankel's helping shape South Florida and making a difference at a National level through her roles on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee, Highways and Transit Subcommittee and the Water Resources and the Environment Subcommittee.

Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon starting promptly at noon.  WTS President Jessica Josselyn will present the Annual Scholarship Awards followed by Broward MPO Executive Director Greg Stuart who will present on transportation and infrastructure regionalism. Broward County Vice Mayor Martin Kiar will speak on transportation funding options and introduce Congresswoman Frankel for her keynote address.

Please join us in celebrating these up and coming bright young women while also honoring our exceptional leadership who are making a difference in our community!
