WTS Philadelphia Internship Opportunities
WTS Philadelphia annually offers internship and shadowing opportunities to current members of WTS Philadelphia Transportation YOU and the Student Chapter. Continuing in its 5th year, WTS Works strives to advance young women in transportation by providing tomorrow’s industry leaders with real-world experiences in an environment that celebrates their talent and diversity and encourages professional development. High school, undergraduate, and graduate applicants will be paired with one of our WTS Philadelphia chapter sponsors or agency partners for a paid summer internship or shadowing opportunity.
Applications are due no later than Thursday, February 29, 2024. Interviews are anticipated in early March of 2024. WTS Works intends to help confirm student internships by the end of March 2024.

The WTS Application specifies the specific requirements for two programs:
- Shadowing Opportunities for high school students
- Summer-long Internships for undergraduate and graduate students
Please note, we expect all internship hours to be in person and/or hybrid settings. Depending on the company policies, this may result in less than 40 hours a week. Applicants will be required to interview with employers for summer-long internship opportunities.
