WTS International hosted its annual Chapter Leader Training November 7th and 8th in Denver, CO. Over 150 Chapter Leaders from across the U.S. and Canada represented their chapters at the annual training.

Chapter Leaders received the status of external and internal updates at WTS International including a new database, brand, and website launching in 2020. Streamlined processes and updated systems will  enable chapters to better connect with members, expand their program offerings, and strengthen the WTS position as thought leaders in the transportation industry.

During the two-day training, leaders were able to connect and collaborate with colleagues from other chapters to share ideas, best practices, and encouragement.  Representatives from the newly ratified chapters in Iowa, South Carolina, and Arkansas brought new ideas and excitement to the event.

Kim Day, CEO, Denver International Airport (DEN), delivered a fireside chat moderated by Danielle Smith, Treasurer, WTS International Board of Directors, Central Region Director, Triunity Inc. Day urged the Chapter Leaders in attendance to work hard and think hard about new career paths because “When you have opportunities, you just don’t know how it will lead to the next opportunity.”

The morning of the final day, the WTS International Board of Directors held a panel where they discussed pivotal moments in their careers that brought them to where they are now.

WTS International is privileged to have powerful, collaborative, and energized Chapter Leaders who represent WTS’s mission, lead in their fields, and sustain their chapters. Thanks to WTS Colorado for hosting the Chapter Leaders in the Mile-High City!
