Register Now: 2015 ITE Mid-Colonial District Annual Meeting

The Institute of Transportation Engineer's Mid-Colonial District (MD, DC, WV, NoVA, & PA) annual meeting will be held Sunday, 4/12 - Tuesday, 4/14. Session & workshop topics range from multimodal planning to complete streets to unconventional designs. Keynote speakers include Bill Shuster, Chair of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, and officials from around the region. There will also be tours of Arlington's bike/ped facilities and streetscape. Early registration ends 3/22.

Call for Student Posters: Transportation for Sustainability – An International Conference

The Conference Planning Committee is now re-opening the call for Student Posters. The 15 best poster proposals will be accepted for display and discussion at the poster session. This international conference, supported by the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies, will present thought-provoking examples of sustainability thinking, analysis and practice in the transportation field.


The Summer 2014 Women in Transportation Initiative (WITI) Internship Program application period is now OPEN!

The objective of the 2014 Summer WITI Internship Program is to provide college/university students with hands-on experience and on-the-job training while working on current transportation-related topics and issues.
