WTS-DC Annual Holiday Party

06:00 PM - 08:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

Kimpton Hotel Monaco | 700 F Street NW Washington, DC 20004 | Paris Ballroom

Join us for WTS-DC's premier event of the year! Our annual Holiday Party is a wonderful opportunity to network, celebrate the holiday season, and recognize the achievements and advancement of women in the transportation industry. Hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine will be served.

At the Holiday Party, we will present recognition awards to transportation professionals who have contributed to the transformation of the transportation industry and the advancement of women in this industry. This year’s award winners are:

  • Woman of the Year: Caroline Decker, Vice President of the Northeast Corridor at Amtrak
  • Honorable Ray LaHood: Paul P. Skoutelas, President and CEO at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA)
  • Innovative Transportation Solutions: The Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) Framework for NOVA Regional Mobility led by Amy McElwain
  • Member of the Year: Jennifer Heilman, Communications Chair of WTS-DC and Vice President at Stratacomm
  • Rosa Parks Diversity Award: Sahar Nabaee, Diversity Chair of WTS-DC and Transportation Engineer at STV
  • Employer of Year: WSP

Additionally, WTS-DC recognizes that education is a vital tool to facilitate that advancement, and we will present scholarships to deserving young women who are studying transportation at undergraduate and graduate programs in the Washington, DC area. If you would like to support WTS-DC’s Scholarship Fund, there will be an option to do so at the Holiday Party’s scholarship tree. All donations are tax deductible!

We hope you will join us for this year’s celebration!
