2016-2017 Mentorship Program - South Florida Chapter

The 2016/2017 Mentor Program kicked off in June with 9 mentor/protégé pairs. The Mentor Program is a 12 month informal program with meeting location and frequency up to the individual pairs. The hope is that pairs will meet monthly, at a minimum, to discuss suggested topics from the committee.

Pembroke Pines Students Discover Careers in Transportation Industry

TransportationYOU Event at Walter C. Young Middle School in Pembroke Pines, FL. The day started off by giving the students a brief presentation on Transportation Engineering & Planning as well as an introduction of how the volunteers came into their respective field. They were then given a chance to complete transportation related activities. We also had activities set up to expose them to transportation related concepts.

2015 WTS International Management Leadership Training

The event was held at the Omni Parker, Boston in November. The WTS International Management Leadership Training conference consists of an interactive mix of roundtable discussions, informative panel presentations, and break-outs but most importantly opportunities for chapter leaders to connect and collaborate.​

District 10/FSITE and South Florida WTS are co-hosting the 2014 Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on November 5-7 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Boca Raton, Florida.
