Supply Chain of Goods Movement in the San DIego Region

Join us for a comprehensive discussion on goods movement in the SD region! Our distinguished panel represents some of the key players that are involved in the “supply chain” of goods movement in the region: the Port, where goods arrive by vessel and are distributed by truck or train; BNSF Railroad, the Class One rail provider for our region; the crossborder trucking industry that carried over $30 billion in goods across the US/MX border last year; and SANDAG which helps to plan and finance some of the goods movement projects in the region. Our interactive discussion provide insights into how TV’s arrive at retail stores, or how your groceries arrive fresh to your supermarket; and how the goods movement supply chain is important to our region’s economy.
