Acquistion and Relocation Supervisor - Property & Acquisition Specialist 6 - WSDOT (Shoreline, WA)

WSDOT is looking for a qualified individual to supervise acquisition and relocation staff responsible for acquiring the real estate, and relocating the people, possessions and businesses from property needed for transportation projects.  All acquisitions and relocations must be completed in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations, with the objective of completing all right-of-way work prior to the advertising dates for construction contracts.
The incumbent works closely with the Real Estate Services Manager, appraisal, property management, relocation staff and design engineers to develop schedules and priorities to achieve the program objectives.  Additional duties include the preparation of acquisition and title clearing documents, legal descriptions, and Real Property Vouchers, as well as reviewing acquisition and condemnation transmittals.  This position will also coordinate and perform final reviews and revisions to legal documents and is responsible for scheduling the final action meetings and coordinating the publication of meeting notices in local newspapers.

HTC Development Manager - Sounder South - Sound Transit (Seattle, WA)

HTC Development Manager - West Seattle & Ballard Link Extensions - Sound Transit (Seattle, WA)

Under general direction from the Central Corridor High Capacity Transit (HCT) Project Development Director, this position is responsible for managing a process to aid in the planning and design of Sound Transit’s Link light rail system, in partnership with local governments, community groups, and citizens for the West Seattle and Ballard Link Extensions (WSBLE) project. The position manages and oversees the project development and environmental process to build consensus and reach agreements between members of the affected communities and the design team regarding the site identification, design features, and environmental impact and mitigation of portions of WSBLE project including light rail stations, guideway structures, and other related capital facilities; manages a high performing project team that supports the Agency’s capital program objectives and which deliver best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements; manages the scope, budget, and schedule within policy direction established by the Board; collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain project support; works in concert with other divisions or departments which will provide environmental expertise, civil and systems engineering, construction management, project control, real estate, government and community relations, and community outreach support to the assigned project team; and provides the Board and other decision makers with information needed to make timely policy decisions related to project implementation.

TPS5 - Safety Oversight - WSDOT (Seattle, WA)

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a proficient and dedicated individual to fill the role of Rail Fixed Guideway Safety Expert in Seattle, WA. A state that has a rail fixed guideway public transportation system has primary responsibility for overseeing the safety of that system. WSDOT is the designated State Safety Oversight Agency (SSOA) that is administered by the agency's Public Transportation Division.

This senior level professional position is one of three senior specialists charged with working directly with the Rail Transit Agencies (RTA's) within the state. As a Rail Fixed Guideway System Safety Expert, the position performs professional evaluations that meet federal and state requirements. This includes reviewing, approving, overseeing, and enforcing the implementation of the RTA's safety plan.

The position is specialized in a complex technical area that constitutes the senior level of practice in the safety field. The successful candidate will serve as a senior level consultant to RTA's based upon highly specialized expertise in light rail safety. The position continuously assesses and reinforces the RTA's compliance with the safety standards, processes and procedures included in its agency safety plan and continuously evaluates hazards, corrective actions, and the effectiveness of mitigations in an effort to save lives, prevent property damage, and maintain public confidence

Transit Business Analyst - King County Metro Transit (Seattle, WA)

The Transit Business Analyst position analyzes and evaluates business processes, work procedures, policies and systems within the department to determine the most effective methods of accomplishing work and recommends changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The incumbent may lead teams in accomplishing the work.

This position is responsible for coordinating Metro's annual reporting through the National Transit Database, and for organizing the collection, compilation, submittal, and auditing of data for that process. Project Engineer (WMS3) - Olympic Region - WSDOT (Aberdeen & Port Angeles, WA)
