WTS June Lunch Program - Eastside Rail Corridor Trail

WTS Puget Sound is excited to offer a program focused on the development of a significant new non-motorized trail alongside numerous multimodal transportation connections and opportunities in the Eastside Rail Corridor! WTS Puget Sound is excited to offer a program focused on the development of a significant new non-motorized trail alongside numerous multimodal transportation connections and opportunities in the Eastside Rail Corridor! The ERC is a former freight corridor spanning over 26 miles, through 5 cities, and owned by 5 different partnered agencies in the railbanked portion. Speakers Erica Jacobs with King County Parks, Kari Page with the City of Kirkland and Carolyn Hope, with the City of Redmond will each share their agency’s experiences planning and developing their section of the corridor in the context of a “multi-use” vision for the former rail corridor, that includes trail, transit and utilities to serve the rapidly growing Eastside communities. Space in this program is limited to 40 people – don’t miss out!

When: Friday, June 9, 2017 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Where: 929 Office Tower, 929 108th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004

Registration and networking begins at 11:30 am, the program will begin at noon and will end at 1:00 pm.

Cost: $12 for public agency staff and students, $17 for WTS members and $22 for non-members (plus Brown Paper Tickets service fee). Please RSVP by purchasing your ticket through Brown Paper Tickets at the link below. Registration will close on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
