Dear WTS Members and Friends, It is a busy time of year for WTS as we prepare our fall programming lineup, annual awards banquet, and the upcoming changing of the guard for the 2017-2018 board term. Congratulations to Patti Gibson May, Elizabeth Hansmann, Elizabeth Smith, Erica Antoine, and Linel Homentosky on their newly confirmed executive roles. I look forward to working with you all to continue the mission of WTS.

SRDC Recap

On September 12, 2016 WTS members gathered at the Sheraton Old City for a luncheon presentation by SRDC’s President & CEO Joseph Syrnick on the past, present, and future expansion of the lower Schuylkill River trail, otherwise known as Schuylkill Banks. Mr. Syrnick’s presentation included an overview of the history of the banks, a recap of the existing trail and greenway projects completed to date, and a look at the in progress and upcoming projects.

WTS Philadelphia Diversity and Membership Committees hosted a Diversity Panel Roundtable and its annual Membership Mixer and 3rd annual DBE Expo on Tuesday July 19, held at the National Museum of American Jewish History located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district.
