The Board of Directors of the WTS Northern Utah Chapter (WTSNUC) is pleased to announce our call for scholarship applicants for 2016!
The mission of WTS is to advance women in the field of transportation; the WTSNUC believes strongly that providing scholarship opportunities for women pursuing transportation degrees is an important way to fulfill that commitment.
This year, we are pleased to announce four (4) scholarship opportunities totaling $6,000 for eligible undergraduate and graduate students from area schools and two (2) opportunities for graduating high school seniors.
The available scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students include the 2nd year of the Matt Riffkin Legacy Scholarship, with an increase in the 2016 award amount to $3,000, as well as three (3) awards in the amount of $1,000 each.
