Young Professionals Committee Bike Facilities Tour

Come cycle around downtown Salt Lake with us and learn about innovative existing and planned bicycle facilities from Colin Quinn-Hurst, Transportation Planner at the City of Salt Lake! We'll meet at Squatter's, go for a casual and informative ride, and then convene back at Squatter's for a post-ride social and networking. Please bring your own water. No bike? No problem! We have access to a limited number of GREENbikes on a first come first serve basis; Just let us know when you RSVP.

Joining us as a subject matter expert and guide will be Colin Quinn-Hurst of the SLC Transportation Department. Colin is a planner focusing on active transportation projects. He graduated from the University of Utah Master of City and Metropolitan Planning program in 2011. Colin has also worked for Commute Options for Central Oregon, a non-profit agency promoting active transportation options and Transportation Demand Management.  He received his undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy and Planning from Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska.

Transport directions: Take TRAX (Blue or Green line) to Gallivan station at 300 S. Main. Walk 1.5 blocks West to 147 W. 300 S., on the South side of the street. Paid parking is also available in a lot just East of Squatter's and on the street.
