With over 200 Chapter members, one of WTS-IE’s primary goals is to provide scholarships for women pursuing careers in transportation. Each year, women with permanent residence in the Inland Empire, or who are enrolled at a College or University in the Inland Empire, are invited to apply for a scholarship. This includes high school seniors, who plan to enroll at a college or university during the fall of 2013.
Note than when scholarships are awarded, the funds are provided directly to the College/University of the awardee's choice, upon proof of enrollment or providing WTS-IE a student ID number. All of the information about the WTS-IE scholarship process and criteria – go to this website.
