Lisa’s 33 years of planning and management experience have focused on surface transport planning, environmental planning and analysis, community involvement, and organizational management.

This month we welcome Lisa Nungesser, AICP as our Lattes and Leadership speaker.  Lisa’s 33 years of planning and management experience have focused on surface transport planning, environmental planning and analysis, community involvement, and organizational management.  She has directed numerous multi-disciplinary projects ranging from statewide transportation studies through project level environmental impact statements and preliminary engineering. In her most recent roles she ran the firm’s operations in a fourteen state district including the District of Columbia. Then as director of PB’s Environment Specialties Technical Excellence Center, Lisa managed the firm’s practices in travel demand forecasting; air, noise and vibration; hazardous materials; communications and public involvement; and project visualization. She is currently the environmental manager for the Dallas/Fort Worth Core Express rail project and project manager for Oklahoma City Crosstown Boulevard environmental assessment. She is a board member of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Lisa holds a Ph.D. in community/regional planning and geography and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as an M.S. in environmental management from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).  She is a member of the American Planning Association, the American Public Transit Association, and WTS. She teaches graduate courses in transportation planning and environmental analysis in the Urban and Regional Planning program at UTSA.
