Greater D/FW Chapter: 2014 Fall Diversity Forum/Luncheon

11:00 AM - 01:00 PM Central Standard Time

DMWBE Programs: “Learn the rules…Get in Compliance….Your Company’s Future May Depend on It”

BPG0085B

  • Are you a DMWBE firm, Prime Contractor/Consultant or agency that participates in a diversity program?

  • Transportation agencies and Primes...Are you really in compliance with the federal DBE rules?

  • Are you sure you know your rights and responsibilities as a DMWBE firm?

If there is any uncertainty about these questions, then you don’t want to miss this year’s Fall WTS Diversity forum and luncheon .Nationally recognized expert on diversity issues, Colette Holt, Esq. has been invited to inform and answer all your questions about diversity programs especially the DBE program including the nuances and differences in certification, compliance and goal-setting. Ms. Holt will also give an overall summary of the revised September 2014 DBE rules and its impact as well as enlighten the audience about the increase of DBE fraud and non-compliance litigation nationwide. This will not be one of your ordinary sessions on the DBE and diversity program but a comprehensive discussion about real issues with diversity programs today.

Colette Holt provides legal counsel and consulting services to governments and businesses on procurement and contracting and is a nationally recognized expert in designing, implementing and defending affirmative action programs. Ms. Holt is General Counsel to the American Contract Compliance Association, the national organization of officials responsible for minority, women and disadvantaged business initiatives and the current consultant for the Dallas County Disparity Study. She is a graduate of Yale University and University of Chicago School of Law.
