Each year the WTS Greater Chicago Chapter honors exceptional young women as they pursue careers in the transportation industry. Our chapter offers six local scholarships for women seeking both undergraduate and graduate degrees. These scholarships include:

·         Sharon D. Banks Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduates ($3,000)

·         Molitoris Leadership Scholarship for Undergraduates ($2,000)

·         Helene M. Overly Memorial Scholarship for Graduates ($4,000)

·         Leadership Legacy Scholarship for Graduates ($2,500)

·         Transportation YOU High School Scholarship ($1,000)

·         Junior College Scholarship ($1,000)



The Transportation YOU and Junior College Scholarship application season is now closed.

Check back in Fall 2018 for the undergraduate and graduate scholarship applications.

All scholarship winners will be honored at the annual WTS Greater Chicago Chapter Scholarship event in Spring 2019.


The submission period for the 2017-2018 scholarship season is now closed. 
Winners of the scholarships have been selected for 2017-2018.  Please see the recipient page for more information.
