Please mark your calendars and plan on joining WTS-Los Angeles on Thursday, November 11, 2010 as we celebrate our chapter's 25th Anniversary at our Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner at the Omni Hotel at California Plaza. We look forward to having you join us, as we recognize this year's scholarship recipients and leading transportation professionals.
We are very excited to announce that our Emcee for the evening will be Mr. Richard Katz. Mr. Katz is well known in California for his long history of involvement and leadership in public transportation policy. Katz was first elected to the California State Assembly in 1980 and served for 16 years, becoming Assembly Democratic Leader as well as Chair of the Assembly Transportation Committee. Mr. Katz currently serves on the Board of Directors for the CHSRA, Metro, and Metrolink; he is also the owner of Richard Katz Consulting (RKC), Inc., a public policy and government relations firm.
