WTS Los Angeles hosted its 23rd Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner on Thursday evening, November 12. The standing-room-only event at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel was emceed by Linda Alvarado, president and CEO of Alvarado Construction, Inc. (and an owner of the Colorado Rockies).
“Tonight’s awards dinner highlighted perfectly what WTS-LA is all about,” notes Cindy Sugimoto, WTS-LA president and Lea+Elliott associate principal. “Not only did we acknowledge trailblazing women in transportation, but we also recognized and encouraged prospective transportation professionals in high school and college. We raised money for future scholarships as well. And that all speaks directly to WTS-LA’s mission.”
We invite you to join WTS Los Angeles, one of WTS's most dynamic chapters, noted for the extraordinary access it provides to top public and private sector decision-makers. For information, contact Membership Co-Chair June Susilo at June.Susilo@aecom.com .
