WHEN:  Wednesday, November 18, 2015  

TIME: 6 pm to 8 pm (EST), Reception to follow (including heavy hors d'oeuvre)

  

WHERE:  Matthews Suite, Reitz Union, 4th Floor, UF Campus

 

WTS (Women's Transportation Seminar) Florida Gator Student Chapter will be holding the 5th annual Transportation Symposium. The purpose of this free event is to provide a chance for students, faculty, staff and transportation professionals to hear and interact with expert guest panelists who will be sharing their research or experiences on "Automated & Connected Vehicles". 

 

The WTS student chapter also will be hosting a WTS swag raffle!

 

Confirmed speakers include:

 

  • Dr. Carl Crane, Professor,  Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and director of the Center for Intelligent Machines & Robotics, University of Florida
  • Ed Hutchinson, Manager, Transportation Statistics & Automated Vehicles Leader, Florida Department of Transportation 
  • Dr. David Metcalf, Senior Researcher, Institute for Simulation & Training, University of Central Florida
