On Thursday October 27, 2016, WTS-Boston celebrated the continued support of Minority/Women/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Firms during an Expo hour followed by a luncheon featuring speaker, Jabes Rojas, Governor’s Office Deputy Chief of Staff for Access & Opportunity at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The event began with an Expo hour featuring twenty-one (21) exhibitor tables. Exhibitors and attendees each received a program containing information about each exhibiting firm including: background, services provided, contact information, and available job opportunities.  The program is available to download here.

The luncheon featured Mr. Jabes Rojas, Deputy Chief of Staff for Access and Opportunity, who serves under Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. In February 2016, Governor Baker signed Executive Order No. 559, which elevated the Office of Access and Opportunity to the Governor’s Office. During the luncheon, Mr. Rojas spoke about the Administration’s current efforts to increase diversity and inclusion through the state’s Supplier Diversity Program.
