WTS-Boston congratulates Ellen DeNooyer on being selected for the 2017 Innovative Transportation Solutions Award

Ellen DeNooyer is a licensed architect with over 25 years of experience in the management of complex projects, including large transportation, institutional and commercial projects in New Eng-land, New York, and overseas. She is a Senior Project Manager with a focus on Transit-Oriented Development projects at the MBTA’s Capital Delivery Department. Ellen joined the MBTA after over 20 years of leading design teams for A/E consulting firms.

WTS-Boston congratulates Abbie Goodman on being selected for the 2017 Woman of the Year Award!

Abbie Goodman joined The Engineering Center (TEC) in May 1996. It is now known as The Engineering Center Education Trust (TECET). She serves as the Executive Director of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) one of TECET’s three sponsoring associations. She also serves as Chief of External Affairs for TECET and for the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE). She is a registered lobbyist for The Engineering Center Education Trus​


2019 WTS International Conference Committee Call for Volunteers

WTS-Boston is excited to host the 2019 International Conference! We are seeking volunteers to form a Conference Committee to assist with overall conference planning including theme development and design, logistics, keynote addresses, workshops, tours, sponsorships, and many other exciting events connected to the conference.


WTS-Boston congratulates Tom Tinlin on being selected for the 2017 Honorable Ray LaHood Award!

A native of South Boston, Tom Tinlin came to MassDOT in January of 2014 after being the longest serving Commissioner of the Boston Transportation Department in the City's history, under the longest serving Mayor of Boston, Tom Menino. By September 2015 he was appointed Highway Administrator by Transportation Secretary Stephanie Pollack, becoming the top Highway official in the Commonwealth.

April Breakfast with Lisa Brothers

On April 4th, members of WTS-Boston Leadership, Sponsors and invited guests met at 7:30 am at the Courtyard Boston Downtown for their first cup of coffee, networking, and, most importantly, to honor a member who has shown consistent leadership, advocacy, and championing of women throughout her career. This year, WTS-Boston was lucky to be able to honor Lisa Brothers, P.E., ENV SP, LEED AP BD+C.
