Kathy Campbell, PE, LSP, LEED AP has been elected the President and Chief Executive Officer at CDW Consultants, Inc.  She joined the firm in 1993 as a Field Engineer, and rose through the ranks to Project Manager, Associate Principal, and Principal. Kathy is the majority shareholder, responsible for growing the 22-person firm by serving existing clients and developing new business relationships.

Kathy is a registered Professional Engineer (Environmental), a Licensed Site Professional, and LEED Accredited Professional.  She holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College. Kathy started her career in wastewater engineering, and in 1990 was drawn towards the rapidly expanding hazardous waste field. She has taken several award-winning brownfields development projects from start to finish in Boston, Worcester and other urban areas in Massachusetts.

CDW is an environmental consulting and civil engineering firm, and is certified as both a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE), and a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE). Located in Metro-west Boston, the 26-year old firm serves both public and private sector clients throughout New England.

A WTS member since 1995, Kathy attributes her career success in many ways to her involvement in WTS-Boston. She has served in leadership positions on both the Board of Directors, and numerous Committees, and was the 2006 WTS-Boston Member of the Year. Kathy is also an active member of the Licensed Site Professional Association, and the Society of American Military Engineers.

Kathy lives with her husband and 2 dogs in Maynard, MA, and has a son in college. She is an avid traveler, is an award-winning lighting designer for her nationally recognized Acme Theater in Maynard, and also enjoys skiing, scuba diving and wine tasting.
