20170609_104001           20170609_103300
Come explore the Boston Landing campus and learn about Boston Landing Station, one of the first Public Private Partnerships (P3) projects in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The station's development and construction were achieved through a combination of private funding sources and MBTA and MassDOT support. The project successfully engaged with Allston-Brighton community stakeholders, private partners, public agencies, and accessibility advocates to improve the neighborhood access to the Station which restored Commuter Rail service on the Framingham/Worcester Line for the first time in nearly fifty years.
The Station also serves the New Balance headquarters and surrounding Boston Landing mixed-use development as well as the greater Allston-Brighton neighborhood.
This private tour will be guided by Ellen DeNooyer from MBTA who worked through challenging multi-party value engineering processes to address rising costs and support an aggressive project schedule, as well as Erin Harvey and Keith Craig from the New Balance Development team.
The special access tour will begin at Warrior Ice Arena located at:
90 Guest Street, Brighton, MA 02135
Registration: 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Presentation: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Tour:  5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Reception (Food and Drinks): 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
The tour will be followed by a happy hour at Brighton Bowl/Flatbread Company, located at 76 Guest Street in Brighton. A variety of pizza and salads will be served and each attendee will receive one complimentary drink ticket. A cash bar will also be available, as well as two private bowling lanes!
Boston Landing is accessible by taking the commuter rail to Boston Landing Station on the Worcester/Framingham line with direct access to South Station.  Parking is  available in the parking garage at 90 Guest Street (free parking for the first 3 hours, then $5/hr after), or use on-street parking along Guest Street.  A Hubway station is also conveniently located on Guest Street.
