Advancing Women in Transportation

Apply to become a WTS-Boston Emerging Professional!


The WTS-Boston Program for Emerging Professional Women provides up to two annual awards to WTS-Boston members.  Eligible applicants must work in a transportation-related career and not be eligible to receive reimbursement from their employer for WTS membership expenses.  Applicants should earn a salary less than $70,000 per year.

Selected participants of the Program for Emerging Professional Women will receive:

  • Paid membership dues from January through December 2016;
  • Paid attendance at up to eight luncheons, the summer tour, professional development events, the 2016 Annual Awards Banquet, and the 2016 New Years' Reception; and
  • Advisor commitment from a senior WTS-Boston board member through December 2016.
